Between the chaos of campaigns and the world of humanitarian aid, I've learned to find joy in everyday moments and the drive to build fun experiences with community. Sometimes that’s cycling across Iowa with RAGBRAI, hosting “Will Parties” or “Make New Friends” gatherings, and sometimes it’s just picking up a new craft — from metalsmithing to painting to DIY builds in my apartment.

For me, experimenting with these things isn’t about perfection; it’s about learning, creating connection, and sparks of joy in the middle of this dumpster fire that is 2025.
